Linkside 2 is the latest venture of ambitious guest house owner, Petra du Toit. Starting off in the tourism industry in 1999, she collected numerous accolades over the last few years, including an AA Award in 2003. Her previous endeavour, Bella Sombra, was a 5-star guest house that won the prestigious AA Award in the category Hotel/Guest House Garni in 2006. As an intimate new B&B, Linkside 2 offers visitors a complete personalized experience. Meticulous attention to detail and imaginative finishing touches are complemented by first-class luxury and exquisite views across Mossel Bay (voted town of the year 2007).

Accommodation is offered in four exceptional bedrooms with satellite television, mini-bar and shaving plugs. All the rooms are luxury rated by portfolio and Rooms 1,2 & 3 offers a private deck and entrance.

Become one with nature in this remarkable place, where you’ll share your days and evenings with the birds that see this as a sanctuary. Watch dikkoppe drink water from the water bowl on your private deck, sugarbirds in abundance and the kingfishers that breed on the top balcony.

In the evenings, unwind on the patio and wait for the evening’s serenity to set in while appreciating the magnificent splendour of an African sunset. The occasional hoot of the stately owl can also be heard, while the early morning bird chatter should wake you up in time for breakfast.

There can be no better start to your day than indulging in an exceptional breakfast on the patio overlooking the splendour of the bay below and the mountains on the horizon. Special treats like homemade muesli and tempting seasonal fruit make this all the more memorable.

At night, the patio with its frameless stack doors also serves as a snug and homely get-together area where you can cosy up next to the fireplace.

The peacefulness of the location is unsurpassed, and although you can’t be blamed for wanting to revel in it on a lounger next to the swimming pool,Mossel Bay and surrounds offer an array of sights and events to keep you

thoroughly entertained otherwise.

The Mossel Bay Golf Course (where you can ‘see the sea from every tee’)

is situated just 800m from your doorstep, and various other day tours,

outings and dinner reservations can be arranged through your hostess.
